Erinn's (she's 9yrs) pump should be here sometime in June, so I am trying to become prepared. I know there are tons of different accessories, but I don't know where to begin!!! I would love to hear advice on what you love & can't live without - and what, if any, was a waste. One thing in particular I would like to get is some sort of strap so she can wear dresses. Thanks :)

Hi, congrats on the new pump! I really like my clip, I put my pump in it when I sleep and attach it to my pjs, and I also will attach it to my pants that don't have pockets. For my dress/skirt wearing, my mom made me a strap. It's just a wide piece of elastic with a pouch attached to it, I wear it on my thigh. Most pump companies have stores online (at least minimed does) so I would check that out. There are also some people that have internet stores that you can check out, maybe look in the products section of this forum, there might be some helpful posts there. Good luck!

Great thread we are wondering the same thing. Although there is a big age difference in my DD and yours. I also am curious what I can do when she is wearing a dress! This is a big concern. We ordered a few pump fanny pack things so as soon as I get them I will let you know what we thing. Hailey should be on the pump by this weekend!! YIPPIE!

On thing i found really handy for Eoin (2) is the tubegaurd..it keeps the tubing from hanging loose and getting caught or blocked when they lie on it..especially in his sleep..he starts one end of the cost and ends up the other about 10 times during the night...we have put pockets in his vests to hold the pump in the winter and got pump paks for the summer (really cute designs)...here's 2 links for you...Best of luck with the pump...it's really made life much easier for Eoin...no more force feeding or refusing him food when he wants mre than cheese or chicken :-)
