help!

i am 18 yrs old live in south of england & have had type 1 diabetes since i was 2yrs old.

i also have underactive thyroid & i take metformin as well as insulin to control my sugars. my periods are so bad that i have to take the pill (one hormone only - stops periods)

about a month ago i went to see my doctor to tell him that i am constantly exhausted - he asked me some questions & diagnosed me with anxiety & mild depression so he put me on a mild prozac.

since i take metformin it suppresses my appetite so i eat smaller amounts - but the prozac also does this - so i am hardly eating - it is such a struggle!
i also suffer with irritable bowel syndrome & have recently met a guy that really likes me - this is good but every time we meet up - i get sick as i am so nervous :(

so basically - i am hardly eating & having diarrhoea every day & have done the stupid thing of not eating all day - then having a bit of alcohol (never again - its not worth it!) also i have been on this pill since january & have never had a period - but i suddenly started my period with no real warning & i dont know why?? !

i am just wondering if there is anyone else out there who has been through this or something similar & how they coped with it - as i am completly exhausted :(

Hi Maz (and Emma)

I don't know much about it but have you considered M.E? All of your symptoms point to it. Not sure how it is treated though.
