hi all,
riley wears her infusion set on one butt cheek and CGM sensor on the other. we try to switch back and forth, but when one gets off schedule it doesn't always happen. so, the sensor has been on the same butt cheek for about 3 cycles now (we leave them for 6 days usually). today when we switched sides, we noticed that there is a spot on the side where the sensor was that has a hard lump under the skin. (not from this past sensor). it is not hot, not oozy or ***** or anything, sort of red, but almost like a bruised red color if that makes sense? the lump is also not directly below the skin either, kind of deep? i noticed the redness before and it hasn't gotten any worse, just looks the same. ill call the pedi tomorrow, just wondering if anyone had anything like that? we've only been at this for a month, so i wouldn't think there would be scar tissue already?
