What's important to understand from the families already in this trial is:
A) kids can be kept safer at school and while away from your side
B) long-range wireless is critical for real-time collaboration
C) simplified analysis means more frequent trend ID, lower A1c's, less frequent hypoglycemia and less frequent hyperglycemia
This is not a future - other families are experiencing these new technologies today. More info can be found online (http://challengediabetes.diabetech.net/2007/08/22/preliminary-trial-results-from-rightnow-diabetes-technology-study-of-team-management/).
