Chris went on his Show Choir trip to Orlando. It was on a Saturday through Wednesday. We met him there on Wednesday and spent the rest of the week together as a family. He managed very well on his own. I increased his overnight basal as a precaution before the trip, and he made further adjustments on his own. He did run higher than usual, but I swear he was an inch taller when we met up, and we usually struggle with highs due to restaurant meals on vacation. Overall, I think he showed a lot of maturity and good judgement.

It is so wonderful to hear about our kids heading out on these school trips and doing well.
I will try to remember all these when it is my turn to let my DD go.

ahhh the big trip for all the musical people going to Florida, sad face, our trip was cancelled.

Glad your son did great! As a parent it shows how you did an excellent job teaching him responsibility. :D
