One of the things my kids and I have always done on weekend nights, is curl up on the sofa with some popcorn and a good movie. We have alot of movies both on VHS (snicker) and DVD. What can I say I LOVE movies and Blockbuster has wonderful sales on previously viewed stuff! As they are on winter break now we have been watching more of them. So far this week we have watched It's A Wonderful Life,Christmas Vacation and just finished A Christmas Story. Next on my list is Polar Express. Then of course we need to watch Miracle on 34th Street (orginal) and White Christmas. I cannot decide which of these is my favorite. I LOVE them all so.

What are your favorite holiday time movies?

Going My Way with Bing Crosby. Sweet movie that my mom always loved. It's not Christmas if we don't watch it at least once!

My favorite would have to be "The homecoming" with the Waltons. I have to watch it every year. I also love "A Christmas Carol" with George C Scott as E. Scrooge and I love the classic cartoon ones like Rudolph and Frosty and Santa Claus is coming to town and the year without a Santa Claus

Yep, what Becky said. Love all the oldies but my new favorite is Elf. I can relate to the escalator scene. Also, A Christmas Story - I always told my kids "NO! You'll put your eye out!" LOVE the original Rudolph and those misfit toys. ADORE Dr. Suess so the Grinch is an all time favorite.

Waltons, wow I have not seen that in forever! Never seen Elf. There was a version of A Christmas Carol I recall seeing as a kid every year. But it never comes on anymore and I have no clue who starred in it. I love that story though.
