First off, all I can say is "Thank You" to every one. My family joined the club just under seven months ago when our son was Dx'd on his 11th. birthday. Our endo rushed us to the CWD website and it helped us so much. Then we read about the FFL conference. What an event the CWD team put on. I would like to stress that the name should be "Families For Life", for this is how we where treated and accepted into the group.
There are not words that can be said to express our feelings for what this event did for us and our son. We learn so much from the classes and every speaker who took their time after the classes to answer questions I am sure they have answered hundreds of times. If this event did one thing special, it showed our son that he is not alone. We received so much more, but I would have been happy with just him finding out this fact.
