For anyone out there with a newly diagnosed child or teen or with a child with diabetes that isnt managing it on their own. I really suggest http://www.diabetes.org/for-parents-and-kids/wizdom-kit.jsp it's a great kit that explains diabetes in a kid friendly way as well as gives support to parents. As a teen with diabetes I wish they had these when I was diagnosed almost 11 years ago.
