you know the other day my daughter was watching the show Arthur. and she came to me and told me that on the show one of the characters on there was diabetic type 1 . and they were talking about eating something and the girl had explained that she was diabetic and explained what it was and she had a pump on. and explained how it worked for her. my daughter thought that was cool to see.
that is such a wonderful show- i`m sorry to see my son outgrowing it. he has asthma, and the character Buster has asthma too. another has a peanut allergy. i think it`s great they have someone with a pump, as it`s definately something the average kid hasn`t seen before.

well my daughter is eight and she has somewhat outgrew it too. but not having cable that is almost the only cartoon that comes on.
My daughter was so excited when she saw this. I tivoed it and she watches it whenever she wants.:D
