YEAH !! we jsut got the call and the doctor is not concerned about the fifths disease !!! her rash is not as bad but still there... I am just totaly relieved by this and now need to stock up on drinks, ice cream and soft foods for her for after..

YEA! I'm so glad for you, hopefully she doesn't get the strep in her bootie like Seth did...It kinda looks like pimples. She will feel lots better soon. You both deserved catching a break :D

Yes the surgery is tomarrow.. we are getttin a bit nervous ( at least i am). Charlize is excited ( weird kid) but more for the ice cream portion of it all.. Sicne yesterday her nubers have ranged from 200's t0 400's regardless of howmuch insulin and dispite 2 site changes... Hopefully she is not getting sick again, her rash is gone.. I am hopeing its just nerves...

Dont be suprised if she doesn't want her ice cream after surgery. Many kids wont eat anything after getting their tonsils out. They will barely swollow their siliva!

My daughter had hers out when she was in 2nd grade. She didn't eat for 3 days just sips of cold gatorade. I got her some slim fast (seemed to have more nutrients than the other stuff) and she drank that after 3 days.
