When my daughter gets older, I wonder how much of an arguement it's going to be to get her to carry around her meter and supplies. I'm probably lucky with her being a girl and carrying a purse. But now, with this, I think it's only going to get easier for those with teenagers!

Sounds cool but I thought it was kind of wierd that the post dates on both articfles were from 2005 and 2006 - I would think that if it were working so well we would have heard about it before now? Who knows.

I also saw a post sometime back about BG meters that can be read with infrared light! Now that would be so awesome!

Looks like a cool idea but they don't seem to have much in the way of carriers. http://healthpia.us/index.jsp

If I need to take a meter with me into class and into tests and stuff like that, it shouldn't have other capabilities.

I couldn't find specific cell phone carriers, but appears as though it doesn't matter. It's a device that attached to your phone and the software is downloaded to your phone. You'd would need web access from your phone.
