This will go down as one of our "Family Classics".. Today the D son was giving his bear Rufus shots, and the 3yr old non-D son also wanted to join in so he grabbed his own bear and both boys were giving shots. The D son wanted to switch over to finger pokes, all good. Phone call came in from Nana so I got a bit distracted and within a few minutes heard a strange noise coming from the area the boys had been "working". I headed in the direction of the noise, and found the 3yr old pinning down the family cat and using the finger checker on her body.. ;) Lillie, the cat was fine - and I tried really hard to keep a straight face and tell the 3 yr old that the cats were OFF LIMITS with shots and the finger checker!

Thanks a lot Lindy. I was right in the middle of swallowing a sip of hot coffee when I read that line. My laugh forced the coffee to clear my sinus's out in a hurry.

That's too funny. It reminds me of the story our endo told us about one of his patients who was using the cat's blood to do his blood glucose checks! Really! (Poor kitty paws!!!)
