exciting sleepover tonight

We have not had many sleepovers since starting the pump, if we do any, they come to us.
Well a buddy of ds, his dad invited ds to come sleep over tonight and camp out in the back yard.
The dad just happens to be a type 1 pump wearing/cgms wearing guy who also happens to be the minimed rep:D:D I joked that maybe he can slap a cgms on ds for me.
I hope he can get the dr to write a better letter for an appeal after he sees what fun he will have checking blood every 2 hours;)

Awesome!! What a bonus!! I am already worried about overnighting and I haven't had to deal with it yet!! Tori is a very social being and I know it will happen very soon. Hopefully she will be happy with having the overnights at our house for quite a while!!

How'd the sleepover go?

My son (fifth grade) had a successful field trip today to a local amusement park. They left at 9:00 this morning and returned at 7:00pm. The nurse was along on the trip, but he was basically on his own as far as his care. He did quite well. One low on the bus trip home, but he caught it and treated for it on his own.
