hey im new on this forum i just found it through google. im a 17 yr old girl living in Toronto, Ontario. iv been through a lot with my diabetes in the 13 yrs that iv had it (i was diagnosed when i was 5) Today wasn't the greatest day i had my checkup and found out my A1C is 12.4. iv been pretty sick lately not just with my diabetes, i was in the hospital about 2 weeks ago for a week. My friends are really supportive and everything but sometimes they just dont understand i no they try but its just not the same as talking to someone who goes through what i do everyday. iv learnt to deal with diabetes and live life to the fullest but sometimes i just have bad days with it. im hoping to go away to school next year but my parents are worries about that especially since iv been in the hospital twice this year. just looking for some people to talk to:p

hi im lewis im new here im 17 iv had diabetes for nrly three yrs now just been put on an insulin pump its rly gd im from portsmouth on the southcoast of england i go to a local support group and i run the forum which has only recently been started any of you are welcome to join and talk to other diabetic people about anything realy spk to ya all soon lewis
