Aaron discovered the secret of great blood sugar control during our week in Ireland.

Climb a large hill or small mountain nearly every day. Then eat anything you want, including huge fried Irish breakfasts, mounds of pub chips, large chunks of cake, and frequent snacks.

OK, it's not a realistic everyday regime. But boy, does hill walking ever burn up the carbs!

LOL! We have found that softball allows for shot free dinners! Hailey really didn't want to play softball and was dreading game nights until we discovered that she could eat 60 carbs WITHOUT taking insulin if she did it right before the game! Normally that would be 6 units of insulin :D Now she looks forward to game night :cwds: One way to get her to love getting excersize :P

Exercise makes a huge difference, doesn't it?! And for MANY hours later as well!!

baseball, kickball, track, basketball and swimming.....summertime around here is just dandy!:cwds:
