a small size sharps container? I'm just looking for one for traveling. A site I was reading about what's allowed on flights said that used sharps had to be in an 'approved' sharps container. I'm not PLANNING on changing my site while on the plane, but if for some unforseen reason I had to.... or in the airport or whatever, kwim?

I don't know how small you are looking for, but I have gotten them at Meijer...if I remember correctly.

Thanks Michelle, I guess I'll look this weekend if I can get over there. Hope I can find one-- there's no hiding that resevoir needle!

I have seen them at walmart where the diabetes supplies are.

We just traveled this spring .... I am 98% sure I saw a sharps container on the wall of the bathroom in the plane and 100% sure I saw them in the bathrooms of the airport. HTH

Rachel your right I also just flew and yes I remember them in the airport bathrooms also. I never went to the bathroom on the plane though.

In Denver we don't have Sharp's containers in the restrooms (at least not the last time I flew). I do remember being shocked the last time we flew to Houston and saw sharps containers in the restrooms, though.
