I thought I would give this it's own thread because I thought it was really neat to read.
We received a little booklet titled Better is Better. Right on the cover it says, " An Unabashedly biased, ridiculously one-sided passionate argument in favor of the insulin pump."
It is a humorous read with some very valid points in favor of pumping. You can request the booklet at the website below as well as read site.

I love it too! I have several copies and give them out to other D's we meet that aren't on a pump.
Like the book says... better is better :)

I loved this booklet! I made Samantha read it one day and when she saw the pages with all of the holes from injections compared to the holes from the pump, she really got it that a pump could totally change things for her. :D

I loved it!!! I gave them out to several friends with D. And even my sons teacher. I love that it wasn't PC , it was meant to show how it is.

I like it too :) I think pumpings the bees knees :p Whenever i find out that someones diabetic i ask "are they pumping?" and if they aren't, "why not?" :cwds:

I was looking at my copy of this book this morning and again noticed how hilarious and fantastic it really is. I figured some time has passed since the original post and we have some new faces that could maybe benefit from this.

If you go to the website (like posted above) there is a button on the left hand side at the bottom that says "Get the whole Book".
the "i`m afraid" thing is me. thx for posting this link :). it really made me look at this differently- i`ve been kinda stuck on "but it sounds so hard/stressful".

Thanks for that link. I too am in the "I'[m afraid" camp. My husband is all for it and I think that once he starts school we may look into it.
