I have heard about a lot of people using elma cream when they insert their minilink sensors. My question is, can you use LMX4 also or can you only use ELMA?

that lidocaine-only formulations (such as LMX4) are safer than the competing multiple-active-ingredient topicals-- such as EMLA.
I use a similar 4% lidocaine gel, "topicaine", with my Dexcom Sensors.
