Hi Tracy, up here in CT we are waiting for the storm. Watching Christmas shows this afternoon and reading books. Hope you all weather the storm ok:)

I wish we were getting some of that. We do have a good amount of snow already, but we've been very cold the last few days and it's keeping the storm to the south of us.

We have 10 inches here in Richmond. We've had bigger snows....long, long ago...but this is big for Richmond. And my youngest (12 yo) is not into sledding. So we've been hanging out inside and then cleaning off the car some and shovelling some. It's still snowing a little (or maybe it's just coming off the trees?)

We still need to get a Christmas Tree!!!:o We have my whole family coming for Christmas. I think we need a tree. I guess worse comes to worse, I can make dh get one by himself. He's working today b/c of the snow. We pushed his truck out of the snow early this am.

We don't have any new snow here, but I hear a storm is supposed to come thru next week. Hoping it waits till we head to IA/NE and that we can beat it there.

I think we have around 18 inches. I've never seen so much snow. Kids love it but are bummed it wasn't good for sledding.
We have had to shovel a path for the dogs so they would go out and go potty. I don't blame them, though, by 10am it was above their backs.
I am so glad I was one of those crazy people out stocking up on groceries. :D

We have at least a foot now - but no cabin fever - I am so glad all the activities for this weekend were cancelled! At this time of year I think everyone needs a weekend just to hang out!!! It's bad for sledding here too but good for running around in, shoveling, cross country skiing, etc. In between we've been baking, watching the snow, going on the computer and playing Wii. Nothing better than this in my opinion!!!

I am just in from digging the potty trail for the dogs and it is at my knee, we are guessing it is around 24 inches and still snowing. I may never get out!!

Will pray for all of you that this doesn't last too long and you can all still have your Christmas get-togethers. And I hope I can get back to IA/NE if it starts here.

I'll send of ours up Tiffanie. We're south in PA...close to Maryland. We have over 12" and it's still coming. I did hear that we might be in for another storm later in the week...maybe you'll get some then.

Everyone stay safe and warm!

We must be at the very edge of the storm because we have just barely enough to cover the ground. On the other hand a couple weeks ago the temp here dropped to the teens all week long and a neighbor across from me that only stops by on the weekends never shut off the 6' tall water fountain he installed this summer so it ended up being a massive 7' tall block of ice.

I know, we feel so jealous. At least we had good driving weather for shopping right:rolleyes:. Not that I did any, no money and no good health, both Arthur and I are sick again. I even called into work on Friday because of it.
