I'm having problems with the school following my older son's 504 plan for ADD. I understand the 504 process pretty well but the issues are with his accommodations for redoing homework and formative work - he is failing 3 classes. The 504 coordinator had forgotten to send the 504 to one of those teachers until last week.
The 504 stuff for type 1 I have down - but this is more confusing to me - any experts out there?

No - just a 504 plan at the moment. This has worked well in the past but it does take effort on the part of the school to make sure the teacher's are aware of it.
I haven't dealt with academic accommodations for William yet (he just started 2nd grade). I guess what happens when those are not being followed - similar to if your child was only to take exams if he was in range and he was out of range and took the test and the teacher recorded the grade, etc. And you don't find out for 2 weeks....how do you remediate this?
