I went super low a lot after getting on the pump. it was common for me to be in the 30's and 40's - 60's didn't feel bad at all anymore. But then my rates got adjusted shortly after - and things got better. don't be afraid to call and talk to your doctor if lows are common for you. They LOVE to help fix that.

When I first went on the pump, I was high all the time!! Like 3-400s, then I'd cover it and I'd get low. I just kept in very close contact with my educator the first week, and we got all the kinks worked out, my basals and ratios all were adjusted. It's not really anything to worry about, just something that happens no matter what. The pump is a big transition from shots, so you just have to play with it till you find what works for you.

ok so i dont mean to scare anyone but
when my little sister first went on her pump she got so low she went into a sezuire
but the only reason she did was because she had lantis and her pump going into her becuase she accedently double dosed on lantis..
so when you get a pump( which i belive is amazing and really helps) please remember your other insulin that you've taken
