Weak signal

We just started with our cgms on Thursday and everything has been going great except we get a lot of weak signals for about a 1/2 hour then it says START where the number should be for a while after that. Does anyone else have this happen often, I am meaning for sure twice a day. He always wears a pump pouch and its always within inches from the transmitter so I do have a call in to our educator but I thought I'd check with the experts here too!

Ours only does that when we're past day 6 and I need to disconnect/restart it, other than that the signal usually stays pretty good.

Is the transmitter fully charged?

Anytime you have a weak signal for very long, (2-3 alarms) it will cause the two hour warm up period to happen again. :eek: This happened to us a few days ago when Emma was playing outside for a while and I was ignoring the weak signal alarm. Oops!

Thanks for the reply- I talked with the help line and they are sending out a new transmitter, apparently we got a "bad one". Its amazing how fast you become addicted to it!! Back to testing the 10 times a day, at least we'll have our new one tomorrow! :D
