Wow, in the beginning I was obsessed. I mean, checking back at least 10 x's a day. So many questions, so much interest in others experiences. Soooo much to learn. Dont know how I would have been sane without CWD. I still check in almost daily, without as much to post myself though.

I don't respond as often as I did when I was first on the forum, nor do I read all the new entries.

It is interesting to be able to read what other parents of children with diabetes as well as other adults with diabetes do to keep as healthy as possible.

It does eat into my other activities.

I spend a ton of time on the internet. Period. We have five working computers (some of which are for work) in our home and four of them have instant internet connectivity. I would say I spend more time on CWD than any other site/forum. But it still isn't that much. Although some days when it is really slow at work, I will open up the CWD forum in the morning and just refresh the page throughout the day.

and keep a tab open here very often. I'd say that even 4 hours is really serious Internet Addiction, and I've got it. :D Maybe different time scales should have been used in the poll.

i'm just a hard core lurker, and since i work from home, it's easy for me to fire up the CWD forums or the chat room

Like Mama Belle, we have (only) 3 computers with rapid internet connection in our home, and all are always running. I usually keep a tab open here, but spend more time on another (non-D) board. Most of my reading/posting comes during breaks in the day, in 5-10 minute intervals. Then when the kids go do bed, I read to relax before hitting the hay myself.
