Oh Gosh im so nervous.....Im letting my older non D daughter(16) and her boyfriend (19) take Deanna to the beach with them. I know Angelene can take care of Deanna, she's been through all the same training we have been,as well as Dan, he has also been through the training, and know prety much everything. but Im a mom, a control freak, I must of been through the "rules" 50 times with them, :o why am I so worried? I have no problem leaving angelene with Deanna at home when im not there.
Just neeed to talk to you al, you guys are the only ones who really undersatnd

How old is Deanna?

I'm sure things will be fine. Do they have a cell phone to reach you if they have any concerns/problems?

It's a big step to take. I hope all goes well to give you more confidence for next time.

Awww it's ok, Barb!! I think it is great that Angelene and her bfriend offered to take Deanna with them to the beach!! It's going to be a great learning experience for all of them. As long as they know where to reach you and you know where to reach them and you have covered the rules, everyone will be fine. :) And it will be much easier to do next time :D.

Well I survived Letting Deanna go to the beach:D
She came back sunburned, but they had a great time. She got a little low just before lunch but her sister took care of it right away, and then correctly figured out her I:C ratio for lunch. I could'nt have done a better job. ;) I was very proud of Angelene, and Dan took real good care of her while she was waiting for her low to come up. while Angelene went to get the sandwished, he stayed with deanna and played in the sand with her instead of letting her go back in the water. I'm sure I'll always be worried , but at lease next time it will be easier to let her go.:cwds:
