Glad to hear this study is going forward and may benefit others, although too late for us now I guess. I had investigated this last summer when my son was initially diagnosed because it seemed simple, promising, closer to possible marketability(Phase III) and less invasive than a lot of other studies. Actually, they really knew nothing about it at that time at U. Washington, so it would seem it has moved along at a pretty good pace for research. Maybe it is me but research seems to move at a snail's pace. I suppose that is because I wanted a cure yesterday!

Can someone put this in layman's terms? My brain is not fully functioning this morning.
Wait until you see results from the Phase III trial. So many drugs get to Phase III and fail.
Thanks for the dose of reality Jeff and for creating this wonderful place for all of us! We have not yet heard all the promises of cures you veterans of D have over the years.
