Hello All,
Just placed our order for the MM CGM for our son, Will!!!!!!!

We are still working on getting insurance coverage but after 2 days of crazy numbers - 25 tests a day :eek: - we decided to get it first and get the reimbursement whenever it comes.

Thanks to all for your many posts on how this all has been working for you. It inspired us to move forward more quickly than we would have on our own.

I am sure I'll have questions for you .... soon!!!!!

Yeah! That's exciting. I practically met our UPS man at the door with "I have been waiting for you..." He kind of looked at me with a weird look as if he was being stalked:D ! Hope you like it as well as we have!

I met our UPS guy today in my pjs. :o Then the MM trainer called before I could get back from the kitchen with the knife to open the boxes. I am literally dancing about the livingroom at this point, knife in one hand, phone in the other, and a very wide-eyed 3 year old clearly wondering what this new dance/craziness is.

I cannot believe how small and light the transmitter is. Fingers crossed that we can get into the training on Thursday.

Good luck. My son literally has not mentioned wearing the new transmitter even one time. I have even gotten 10 days out this sensor (which I did once before with the old one). I'm not sure if it's just luck or if it is because the sensor/transmitter is all covered with one piece of Tegaderm. With the old transmitter, there was always where the cord came out the let moisture in from the shower and also probably allowed for some movement. Anyway, I hope this isn't just a coincidence and we will get longer life out of the sensors with the new transmitter. Hope you get started soon! I know it is tough to wait when you are holding it in your hands....
