Accu check compact, pain in butt? I know it keeps you from touching test strips but does anyone else waste test strips if you accidentally turn it on it spits a strip at you. Also for the teens who try to keep the testing private, it makes alot of noise. So what rae the opinions on this new meter?

Aviva needs a sample size only about 1/3 as big, and doesn't have the PROBLEM! testing outside in the fall or early morning (compact doesn't go below 50 F).
But I prefer the newer electrical-resistance type meters, haven't used an optical-based meter in 6 or 7 years., and back then they were much worse. So this may be partly emotional. :cwds:
