For those with type 1 diabetes and celiacs...did you have any symptoms of celiacs, or were you asymptomatic and diagnosed only through a routine test done by your endo. I am concerned about my child, who has always been very constipated (even long before his type 1 diagnosis). The "symptoms" I have read about seem so varied and run the gamut pretty much covering everything. I will ask to have him tested at his next endo appointment, though a huge part of me doesn't even want to broach the subject. As in, "if I ignore it, maybe it won't happen"! :(
