I gave dd her Lanus this morning and she was squirmy so the syringe went a bit sideways, I believe. fter the injection there was a little bubble under her skin like I had injected just under the skin instead of into fat.

Any thoughts on what to expect? Will it absorb, absorb faster, not at all?

Thanks in advance for any help.

This happened several times when my son used Lantus. As I recall, it absorbed slowly and didn't affect the sugar. As long as it is in the body, it will be absorbed.

He had more problems when the Lantus leaked back out.

Thanks...I'm not sure if any leaked out...I think it all went in.

I'll just keep a close eye on things today.

That happened once to me too......it seemed the angle I used on the needle was wayyy off.....the little bubble looked horrible to me and I was sooooo upset with myself......son said it hurt......but not over the top.......I don't recall any problems with Blood Sugars after......'

I think this, too is one of those things like giving wrong insulin or forgetting insulin......when you do this 4-5 times a day, every day, every week, every month every year, the chances of "flubbing" are pretty darn high :cwds: and everyone does......
