We don't use this. My husband is our own "basal rate" estimator! He's lived with type 1 for 39 years and can estimate basal rates at the drop of a hat.

That looks interesting. Our CDE uses a lot of math and some intuition to figure out basal rates and it's usually spot-on. She's trying to teach us her technique, but some of it really is an art form.

I did get to play with a Cozmo pump with the new software (way over here in NZ!) and the basal testing feature looks pretty cool! :cwds:
The rep has said that our new software should be here around June/July :D

I've tried it once, but didn't apply the basal it suggested. We ended up needing less of an increase then it suggested. The math doesn't always work for us though.
