We were stomping about in puddles tonight, trying out the new rain boots, when Will suddendly whipped off his mittens, said his thumbs felt funny, and started wiping them, as if to dry them, on my jacket. He said they weren't cold and I checked them - they didn't feel cold. Just kept wiping them on me and looking at me very very confused. (Very Lady Macbeth like - "out damn spot".)
I ran into the house for the test kit and he was 100. This was 15 minutes after dinner with a pre-meal high of 271, insulin dosed a good 20 minutes before the meal because of the high. So likely he was feeling the big drop.
Is "funny thumbs" a common feeling for a low or a dramatic drop?
