I had to share our "news" with y'all!!

:D :D I just got the call and it will be shipping soon...Liv's blue Minimed 522. Our insurance doesn't contract directly with Minimed; so we had to go with an supplier that our insurance contracts with. The medical supplier told me that they would send us a remote for free! Yay!! :D

We have we be live with insulin on March 27.

Liv's on the saline Minimed 515 now. I bribed :p her with pump dresses from Alana-mirielle, pump packs, pump shirts....pump skins... After the last trial, we had in October where she had "issues" with the pump and going to the bathroom...I wanted to make sure we had all the "right" accessories turn the old negative experience into a positive one...it worked!!

Great news! We've had ours for about a month now, but don't go live until April 5. We start our saline trial on the 30th. We'll get to go through the fun together!! ;)

Oops! My bad! Edited because I didn't read your whole post in that you were only upgrading pumps, and not new to the pump entirely!

Congrats! Teagan's been pumping for a month now and we love it! It's so nice not to have to worry about giving her another shot if she eats carbs for a snack or limiting her food choices to "free" foods. The biggest challenge for me is the site changes. Teagan is not a fan of them and puts up a big stink each time. We know it doesn't hurt anymore than a shot (my husband's been pumping for 4 years) but we think she's not happy with not being in control. I keep reminding myself it's only been a month...it'll get better.

I think I've become a pump pack junkie! Just ordered another one yesterday--that'll make 3 for Teagan. On the other hand, my husband purchased 2 pump skins for Teagan. I guess if you have to have D, you might as well make it fun! And girl should be able to accessorize!:D

Good luck! You and your daughter will like pumping!
