I was doing the same, then dh says "why don't I just get up early and do a load of laundry one day?" Hey ~ if he's offering.....besides, he does know HOW to wash clothes. ;)

well, I'm pretty much thinking about doing laundry every 3 days or so...
the conference won't be an issue much, but once we start the real vacation part of the trip we go through clothing like crazy.. clothes in the morning are far too sweaty to wear that night after our pool break...so it's usually 2 changes of clothes per day. I just can't pack that much.. LOL. plus, I'm trying to keep the luggage under the 50lb limits...
i hate packing.

We're there for almost 2 weeks too so I am giving in and planning to do laundry one day. We aren't flying this time so I can pack more but I know I'll be wanting to wear some things more than once.

Better to be doing laundry at Disney than at home!:)

I hope I'm able to pack prior to leaving for the airport on Thurs.

Tues. Study 8-10am, Work 10-12pm, Work 12-3pm, break 3pm-4pm, study 4-6pm, Dinner/break 6-7pm Study 7-9pm.....maybe think about what I need to pack.

Wed. Work 8-12pm, Take my test 12-4pm ( I have to drive to the school which will take about an hour each way), work 430-930pm... Try to figure if I have everything I need to pack, then try to pack.

Thursday. Finish packing 8-10am, leave for airport 11am.

I think this is the first trip in my life that I don't have everything completely planned.

How frustrating! I like to have things planned as much as possible. I was never this way before D ~ I was very spontaneous. But ever since D, the scheduling/planning has taken over. :o

Working, school, and taking care of the family is tough enough but then throw in a vacation AND D, well that's enough to make you go crazy. You will definitely be needing this vacation. :D

I definately need the vacation except my books are coming with me...:)

oh I'm not packed...I'm just "thinking" about packing LOL.

Carol - are you staying at CSR the whole time or moving hotels after the conference?

That sucks! But, I soooo understand the student thing! ;) It'll be ok.

I'm finishing my packing today. This is the first time since dx that I have been almost completely packed ahead of time. :p I'm usually like everyone else ~ staying up all night the night before leaving EARLY in the morning and looking like death from lack of sleep. I decided not this time ~ and it worked!! Isabella's numbers have been fairly decent even with all the excitement so I have been able to get stuff done. Go figure.

This is what I remember most about last year's trip to Disney (pre-dx)....they went through clothes by the time we were at the end of our 10 days, I thought that I didn't pack enough but didn't realize they would be going through 2 - 3 outfits a day ;)

Although I don't know about all hotels in the area, I do know that there is a laundry room at the CSR. Just need singles/quarters to do it. They usually have a machine that dispenses (at a cost) small boxes of detergent. If you can find some at the local store, you're ahead of the game. Someone posted on the mailing list that Tide comes in "blocks" or such. I didn't see it this a.m., but will look again. I am planning to take both Color Catchers (a great product if you've never tried it) and dryer sheets, plus a slew of quarters. Even we adults often need to change more frequently due to the heat/rain/perspiration. I always want to shower every three hours, too, but that's never feasible.:cwds:

after coronado we move to shades of green - and they have good laundry there. :) the tide DOES come in blocks..if you can find it. The purex all in one sheets are good too, but they sort of smell funny to me.

I also want to shower every few hours at disney too - but alas - I am frizzy after all......

Not sure if you're asking me or one of my other Carol buddies but.....:p

We are staying after the conference - we're moving on the 11th over to the Beach Club for a week. We have to get up Sat morning and go over there and check in because our park tickets and meal plan are tied to that ressie. I bit on the "buy 4 get 3 free" deal Disney offered awhile back.
We will then go to the MK for the rest of the day as I think many of the CWD folks will be there hanging out.

When do you leave SoG?

We are officially packed and leaving for the airport in about 30mins. I'm sure I forgot tons of stuff. We are at the Boardwalk Villas until the 9th and then move over. Except now we have a number of things that we are involved in on Tues and Wed and will have to shuttle back and forth....Oh well...We are headed to Florida....See everybody soon.

yep, i was asking you. :) we'll be at disney until the 22nd..I was just curious where you were staying. I didn't know anyone else staying that long. :) We move over to SoG on sunday right after the conf. My youngest brother and his fiancee are coming in that morning as well. Can't wait for the conference...but I can't wait for vacation either. :)

I'm glad I finally got to put some faces to names....I must admit that I am still trying to figure it all out with names, faces and screenames :)

I wanted to let you ladies know that being only four months into this, your help and suggestions on this board whether I reply to them or just read them, have been very helpful....thank you!
