So it's not like I want to go back to work but it's going to have to happen. I have been totally stressing about daycare because now that Emma's on a pump I thought I was going to have a really tough time finding care for her. My daycare centre (where my son currently goes) just called me and they are more than willing to take her pump and all. They of course want full training and I am going to work with their kitchen to make sure I outline carb counts on all their meals but I am over the moon relieved. Hearing all of the school horror stories I just assumed the worst and seeing that this centre is 100% private there is no obligation or law to accommodate (plus they are full so they could totally get a non-d kid that comes with no added responsibility).

Yay for corporations that care about our children and not just making a buck :)

That is great news. Both kids get to stay together and you already know and trust them. It is nice to hear about the good schools.

Congrats Shana! Good news!

Our daycare was 'accomodating' like this too. But when it came to staff laziness, they covered their butts and sometimes gave us a hard time. (ex: carb counts, meal portions, meal substitutions and staff sickness, etc) I hope that this doesn't happen to you too because it did suck when it happened. *Not to bring you down a notch, just to make you aware*
