That is phenomenal!!!!!!!:D I can't wait to have it!!

I also heard that the 3 day limit rumor was NOT going to happen. One of the people testing the product, (Nikos from diabetescgms) said you can restart it just like the current sensor.:D :D :D

It's still the same old "3-day, restartable" Sensor.

The new Transmitter sends exactly the same data which the current (separate and cabled) one does. The plug-in is identical to the current CABLE, so it's completely compatible with the current Sensors. And the R/T pump too:

Note that if it DID do any kind of 'new' talking to disable restarts, the programming on the Pump/Display side would have to be redone. That would require all current R/T customers to send their pumps back in for the "upgraded" R/T feature, an enormous hassle which Minimed was wise to avoid.
