I go to Jungle Jim's periodically...and they carry candy (among other things) from all over the world. I am addicted to Coffee Crisp candy bars but am no longer able to find them:(. I did...however, find Flake candy bar in the Praline variety. YUM! I also love Aero bars. Do you Canucks have ANY idea how LUCKY you are to have these deeeeelicious candy bars?!

OOOH i was not really begging for them..just wanting you all to appreciate your candies! The Flake candy bar cost me $1.49 :eek:....but I won't turn down an offer for some candy...lol heck no!
Have you ever had the Aero mint or orange flavours? Mmmmmmm....soooo good!!

I've had the mint..but the regular is my fave. I don't care for orange flavored anything...:o

We lived in the states for a number of years, and my wife always got relatives to bring a stash of Coffee Crisps when they visited.
You can now get boxes of them (and some of the other Nestle chocolate bars) in a smaller Singles size with approx 15g carbs.

I had an Aero bar a few months ago when a Canadian friend sent me something and included candy bars for the kids. I was amazing! Ive looked all over here and not found them anywhere. Ive had a Coffee Crisp before too, and they were pretty good, but I liked the Aero better. Never had a Flake before.

You can't get Aeros and Flakes!? Wow. I've never heard of coffee crisp, though.
And I thought you were all so much better off than me - we're somewhat deprived of Reese's stuff over here. :p

Here is a YouTube link to an early 90's coffee crisp commercial. Just inform those interested further on the subject LOL.

This commercial was the first thing that came to mind when I read this thread. I used to get the odd fun sized coffee crisp bars at Halloween, which I thought was funny because it is not a very kid oriented chocolate bar

So I am guessing that if you don't get Flakes, then you don't get Luxury Flakes either!?:(
These are Flakes that are wrapped in a layer of chocolate. Mmmmmmm!:D

Well Ms Denise your shipment left on Tues so *hopefully* you will receive shortly. They warned me that chocolate sometimes gets stopped at the border...huh?!? It's chocolate for goodness sakes. If it gets shipped back then I'll just have to eat a whole lot of chocolate...oh and I can send some to Emma's Dad, chkpea, Leece, and Zoe's Mom (and all the other Canucks on the board) b/c apparently you can mail chocolate within the country :)

Thanks for the offer Shana, but I can get all of them in bulk at the Costco! lol I'm also thinking that shipping chocolate at this time of year could end up being mush by the time it gets to its destination. (*Pictures Caramilk bars all melted and delicious in a swirl of chocolate and caramel*)

Ya, I guess it's not a great share when you can drive 30 seconds to your closest store and pick up one that hasn't been melted down to goo. Oh well, short of driving to Denise it's the best I could do...melted, re-formed, and then melted again chocolate is still chocolate after all :)

Ooooohhhh... The Zero is basically a chocolate shell filled with a creamy dark chocolate thing (not sure how to describe). When you put it in the fridge, the filling is still smooth, but reaaaaaally good.
The Lindor ball is a bit similar, chocolate shell with creamy middle. A bit different. But delicious...
It felt a bit weird taking a pic of chocolate, but here we go...
(and I just "happened" to have both at home)
