1) Noone is allowed to get sick. Tummy bugs will result in a particularly cruel punishment!

2) Before traveling or going into a crowded area, everyone must take Airborne or Zycam 3x day for a minimum of 3 days in order to prevent any illness. This also applies after having been exposed to any ill or even ill-looking person!

3) A stack of antibacterial wipes and gels must be present at all times in the following areas: All cars, all purses, all "man-bags", and all lunch boxes. They may not only be used to wash hands on-the-go but also to clean any surface which may be used for eating, grocery cart handles, steering wheels and any other handle which may be touched at anytime. Cuts, scrapes or abrasions on hands do NOT count as exceptions to this!

4) Hands must be washed (at minimum!) before snacks and meals, after snacks and meals, after shaking hands with anyone, after all playdates and after school or work. This should be done without asking!

5) Every Wednesday is "Collect-the-Teststrips-on-the-floor" Day. If there are dogs in the house, make it every Wednesday and Sunday, or as often as needed before the dog eats them!

6) Mom is allowed to cancel or make up rules at anytime. She is the boss. Get used to it.:D

These rules are just too funny -- and too real!!! LOL! I am continually finding test strips either in the car or in the kitchen - and I swear I have thrown them away properly!!

#2 about being exposed to sick people really hits home for me.... Yesterday I was in Costco and while waiting in line this woman behind me had three kids, one which continued to cough and hack and was just plain SICK. I immediately moved Cam to the other side of me and when I was done, I turned to the woman and told her that in the future, it might be best to keep a sick child home so as not to infect everyone around them. Do you know what her response was?? She said her daughter wasn't sick, JUST CHOKING!!! It was obvious the poor little girl was truly sick, but to make that kind of excuse???!! AGH!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, I took Julia's meter out of the case yesterday so I could clean it, and the case up. There were like 8,000 test strips behind it!!! I need to cover an empty bottle or something so that she will have a place to put them while we are in the car, or elsewhere.
