SO my kids spent the night at my inlaws ( whom i love dearly)... Every time they spend the night something happens.. EVERY time.... SO tonight is no diffrent.... First i get a call at 8 pm.... her alarm went off.. less than 10 units of insulin left.. ok.. ok no biggie, There is more than enought to get them thru the night, and if need be they have extras of everything.. THey are not to comfortabe in doing the change out, but will if need be...... So at 3:30 am I get a call when i was up getting ready for work.. and my MIL says that chalize SITE is off !!! WHAT... IT came out some how in the middle of the night... lucky i had given her extras of everythign... So i immediately ask what is bs level.. 459... with moderate ketones ( NOT AGAIN) but at least i know what the cause is this time... At night she needs alot of insulin... ( .40 units per hour from 8pm to 4 am).... SO i have to walk them thru the whole thing.. MY FIL gets all this but to nervouse with changing a site for the pump.. HE would rather give shots... my mil hates shots.. wont touch them. doesnt mind the pump stuff but is electronically challanged at times (lol)/... So i had both them on speaker phone ( as im getting ready for work and driving to work..) and walk them thru the whole processes, while they are half asleep, and bickering at each other... IT TOOK 1 hour to get this complete....

(ok deep breath.. ) .. All is well know.. THey are hooked back up, and sleeping and now we are waiting for BS and ketones to go away !!!

WOW, that mad me tired for Charlize LOL.. Poor thing.. Kaylee's sites have just been falling off too.. for no reason..

glad they made it through it.. my parents or inlaws could never have done that.. they all would have flipped out.. I still have to walk everyone through giving insulin through the pump.. they just worry that they'll do something wrong..

glad everything is all set now.. hope those ketones leave soon!:)
