MiniMed [and the reps] recomend a 45 (or more) degree insertion i know. But after reading a lot of posts from RTMS users here and in other places some (a lot of) users suggest a shallower insertion in order to reach subcutaneous tissue better. Hence i concluded that a 30 degree would be better for my 3 year old nephew. But yesterday one of the well experienced users (Emma'sMom) told me that they've had better results with 45 degree and a few false lows with 30 degree. So accoding to the importance of correct insertion technique i decided to look for one definitive answer to this question:
What is the best insertion degree for kids (upper but cheeck area)?
