Well, to explain, Ive been having alot of pain in my left arm from my fingers to my shoulder & neck for about 5 days. Tried everything, hot, cold, bengay, ibuprophen.....w/ little relief. Im not scheduled the rest of the week so 1st thing this am, called and got an appointment. Bad news.....tendonitis in my shoulder. I THINK I did it friday lifting a very heavy resident but not sure so I havent reported it there. The visit was sliding scale & so were meds so Im not going to bring it up. Good news is, its my left arm - Im right handed - and the dr gave me lots of samples of Lyrica which I used to take for fibromyalgia but stopped when we lost our insurance. Lyrica made me feel so much better within days so Im glad Im taking it again!! Maybe this injury was God's way of getting me what I needed. Few days of the lyrica and motrin 600 & Ill be good as new. Also w/ the lyrica, I dont need the darvocet as often. Definately another plus!! Had to share.
Also, the lyrica makes me loopy the first couple days so if any of my posts are 'out there'......you'll all know why :D
