I just need to vent and get this off my chest....Remember a little while back I was ranting that I received an email from an Equine therapy case worker, about her quitting due to family problems and that she hadn't really done anything on our case.....and it had been a whole year?

Well, I contacted them again today to see where we stood. I was informed that this case worker had in fact retired and it had nothing to do with family problems and that they were accepting new patients that were private pay.

I basically told them where they could stick their "therapy" that I felt I had been lied to for a whole year. And that I would never pay them a dime, much less try to get it through insurance now, even they paid me! Every email they sent me said something different, I have even have one stating that I couldn't be a private pay because she does in fact, have CP, now all of a sudden that isn't a problem?

I am also angry that it has taken me almost a whole year, to wisen up to what kind of a rookie joint they run.

GRRRRRR I am so mad.....Bad thing is, there isn't another equine therapy facility around here, so we will just have to be content with her current therapy.

Thanks I feel better.:o

What a bummer, what about just a regular riding school instead of one claiming to be a therpay place?
So sorry that you had that long drawn out issue.

They gave you the runaround and Im really sorry. Have you looked in to private lessons with an Equine therapist? I would call local vets, farms ect. You never know whats out there. Do an internet search also for your area.

Good luck! :cwds:

Good riddance!!!!! Can you IMAGINE trying to deal with this place for therapy?

I have to wonder how places like that stay in business....

I know, I couldn't imagine dealing with them on a weekly basis. Like I said, I am a little mad at myself for allowing this to go on for nearly a year; I guess I am a little slow to the party.:o

And Lisa, as far as working for them? I don't think they have people working for them, I think that is part of the problem.

I sent another email to them with ALL of the emails I received over the last year, to show them how much they kept jerking me around and where they kept lying to me. At least they will know why I will continue to bad mouth their business practice.

You can also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That way, if someone else wants to use them, they can check and see if there are any complaints. I have done this in the past with businesses who are like that.
