Maddison had a 99.4 temp this morning, which I figured may not actually be a "fever" based on everyone's differences etc etc etc. She has not been wanting to go to school, was not "feeling well" though she says this every morning. So, I had the school nurse check her, look at her ears, throat. She had about 2 bites of her breakfast and was at 111, no bolus. At 10:30 she was 223 per the nurse. So, she said she had come in several times saying she feels very high. I Had my husband go pick her up from school since I guess the nurse agreed she doesn't look well. The nurse did agree in the AM that it really couldn't be considered a "fever"
Just wanted to know since we have not yet been sick since diagnosis, would you have sent your child to school at 99.4?

Every mom has this little voice called a motherly instinct. I'm sure you know about it. I trust that with all my heart when i make decisions for my children. You should just trust it. You did fine and I probably would have done the same. I don't havea child with d but was one at one time (24 years ago). I would be thaking God that you have such an awesome school nurse, not sure if i could trust our nurse to that. (I have 4 children myself) I hope I helped you.
