anyone have the 'skins' they've come out with for the pump.. I'm thinking about getting Kaylee one or two.. But I don't want to spend the money if they weren't worth it.. didnn't work well or whatever.. :cwds:

We don't have one yet, but I will be getting them for Haley. Emma's Mom posted a photo of her pump's skin, it looked pretty cool!

I also thought about getting one for Chase but his pump is always in his pocket to it's never seen. Figured i wouldn't waste the money. They are cool though.

We bought the pink jaguar one for my daugher and she loves is - It is very cute. It doensn't really have a "purpose" - I guess maybe it provides a little protection for minor surface scratches - although the screen is not covered of course and that is where we seem to get scratches. It's just really for fun I think.

Do the skins fit all pumps? Alana has a Cozmo pump. I have not seen the skins, I will have to check them out.

as far as I know they are made specifically for the minimed pump.. although.. I just saw that the spirit?? by accu-check, I think, has skins as well.. not sure about the other pumps here is the minimed site http://www.minimed.com/products/insulinpumps/skins/selector.html you move the mouse over the skin and it'll show you what it'll look like on the pump:) I'm gonna call MM tomorrow (they aren't open today:( ) and see if I can have two sent with kaylee's next order of infusion sets and reservoirs:)

As referenced earlier, we bought one for Emma's pump, and it's been just fine. But once you put it on, there's no moving it, so make sure it's where you want it!

Yeah, so make sure she really likes it....lol... I was told by a minimed rep that it was made out of neoprene so I assumed you could switch them out if you had more than one but it's just a sticker so we won't be buying anymore until this one falls off....
