I just called to see if our CVS has it in stock (they don't). I asked how much it is.......over $60 dollars. I guess we will be sticking with the Emla cream.

We got a 20 gm tube at WalMart pharmacy for $25. But honestly, it doesn't work that well for Emily. :cwds: We just don't use it much anymore for that reason. Sigh.

Walmart is definitely the place to go for LMX4 cream.

How long do you leave it on prior to insertion? We wait 40-60 minutes. Works well for us.

We left it on for 45-60 minutes, but she yelled, "I can still feel it!" Sigh. I think it may have been psychological, so I just don't mess with it anymore. She hates site changes, either way. :cwds:
