When you are going to see your pedi. endo for your regular check-ups (we go every 3 months), what all do you take for him/her to review?

Emily's pump has her meter attached, so that is downloaded. We also take a notebook we fill with non-emergent questions we have between visits, lab values, and reports from any other doctors (eye exam results, for example). Finally, we print our Excel spreadsheet for the previous 3-4 weeks.

In addition to pump and meter which they download all info from, I always have a notebook with any questions we may have along with about 3 weeks worth of bg's that I have printed out so I know what day/time they are talking about when we discuss trends.
If we are meeting the dietician, I bring 1 weeks worth of food logs.

we take all our meters, adn her pump.. they download all the infor there, so we dont have to take our print outs... I do take print outs only when i feel i need to talk about a specific problem... ... I also try to write down a few questions, concerns, or requests that i have befor the appointment with me so i dont forget to aske...,.I always forget to ask something though

I keep handwritten logs of Philip's blood glucose readings, # of carbs eaten, amount of insulin taken, and the basal rate. I mark when basal tests were done and when the site was changed. The CDE looks very carefully at the last month worth of records. The doctor looks briefly at the records. I keep another notebook of the exact food eaten and notes of events that happened that day in case the CDE has questions.
I could print out a lot of reports, but they didn't seem interested in these. They don't look at the meter or the pump.

We usually just take our meter and logbook. The doctor prefers the logbook and the interns use the meter printout to discuss Adin's numbers. Since our last appointment I have started a detailed notebook with food and insulin doses along with any questions that have come up that I may want to ask.
This time I am bringing our research on the pump and cgms. We are hoping for some positive feedback on both.
Wish us luck we go in a couple weeks.
