Im going on a date today with my son

The secretary at Chris's school gave Chris a gift card to the movie theater for christmas and told him he can take all his brothers to the movies. well I'm not crazy, I'm not taking 3 adhd boys under 9 to the movies at once,lol. SO I told them I'm gonna take each one out on a date to the movie and have 1 on1 time. CHris is first today,we are seeing Happy Feet. I actually am really excited to spend this fun time with him. I wish we could forget about D during the movies but of course we can't. Have to bring all the D stuff to combat the popcorn ect. But should be fun anyway!! I'm just hoping that on each date they all don't want to see the same movie,lol :eek: ~ Jennifer

I hope you had a blast.. Kaylee's wanted to see that movie, we just haven't had the chance to actually go and see it.. her birthday is coming up (feb 28th) and she's chosen a Happy Feet birthday party.. she can't wait:)

i think 1 on 1 time is a great idea.. I want my DH and I to start taking each of the girls and do 1 on 1 with them.. once a month.. but he's still working 7 days a week.. so hopefully he won't be doing that to much longer..

We had soo much fun. Happy Feet is very cute! Although when the movie started he said something to me that almost had me bawling right there in the theater. He said" Thats not nice that thee are making fun of him huh mommy just cause he's different. Its ok to be different. I'm different cause I have diabetes and that just makes me more special" What a great little guy I have!! I gave him a hug right then and there and said "THATS RIGHT!!! Jennifer
