Should I be concerned if my sons tells me that he is going to the bathroom a lot more today? His numbers are good. He says he hasn't drank a lot. I have seen him in the bathroom a few more times than usual. He doesn't have any soreness when urinating. Any feedback? Has anyone else experienced this?

If it continues I'd take him to see his regular pedi. Not all bladder infections hurt, and sometimes it can be a kidney infection.

If you can, try to buy those urine strips that test for glucose, ketones, specific gravity, and for infection. I can't remember what they are called, but they will sure help you figure out if he's dehydrated or has an infection. They come in a round, black container.
