Thank God.
I just talked to AccuCheck's agent in Tehran. The kind tech. support chief there offered to send us AccuCheck 'cable' and software free of charge to upload Alijoon's BGs to PC. ~Yesterday i looked at our Aviva meter and noticed that we have data of ~500 BGs in it and what we get from it? Merely an average! So decided to contact AccuCheck to see what 'statistical' analisys we may have.

I used it for a while but did not like that I could not write in my own comments into the reports. I like to be a bit exact as to why we test at strange times or test so often so the Endo doesn't give me a hard time. It gave all of the reports that you need though. I hope this is what you were asking :cwds:

I have the Compass software. Its really easy to use and can give graphs, before and after meal comparisons, average day, average week, targets and hypoglycaemic measurements.
I don't use it so much any more as Rachel has a "medisense" meter at school so the results from the Advantage meter aren't a true record, though you can add bsl's manually.
I'll try attaching the one page summary for you to see :cwds:

Not a very good pic but it sort of shows you what you can get - you can set averages for 7 days, 14 days, 30 days OR for a date range YOu specify. You can compare before any meal (or all meals) with after meal. And you can also set it up for more than 1 user.
Hope it helps!

You CAN add your own comments into the data. Download your meter and then change from "Download Meter" into the "Self Test Diary" - you can add any insulin, carbs, exercise and other events (there are a range of 30 events and you chose 15 common to you that are just a "click to enter").

I've just downloaded Rachels meter and the results weren't pretty :(
She was using just 5.9 units of basal insulin during school time and over the Summer school holidays I've increased it to 7.8. The compass software shows 49% of her tests are higher than her target range  Funnily though, her Saturdays (for the past 60 days) are just about perfect ;)

Thanks Jane, I actually wanted to add in my own specific comment. For example "played outside for 2 hours, was cranky and pale when coming in so we tested again found her to be high" Otherwise I never remember why exactly we tested at a certain time and the endo is always questioning me on why we test so often.
