Saturday morning my neigbor, Ali, went into the basement and found 3 inches of water :eek: All of their carpet and molding was ruined. A lot of cabinets, dry walling, furniture, and toys are gone too. The basement is the baby's favorite place, but now everyone else hates the basement even more than they did before. They spent the past 5 days ripping out carpet and had lots of service vans over for cleaning. K (10) is having a bday party tonight so now all the girls we be staying up stairs (mom and the boys are hiding already) I offered to take the 2 boys and the baby with me :) They're still hoping that insurance will kick-in some. Hopefully the year will only get better for them.
