Our evening on the eve started okay but we were chaing hypo numbers all evening. Finally Suspended the pump completely so she would hover around 80. She did not fall asleep until after midnight.
Santa ate a lot more of the lasagna then he was suppoed to and only allowed Rudolph a small bite of a carrot and said he was getting to chubby to allow Rudolph to finish it.
After the 2:00am check of Lil's blood, I noticed her cat was in the litterbox longer then normal. Not urinating normally. Not blocked yet so i gave sub q fluids to keep him hydrated and LOTS of canned food(his brothers prescription food) to push the extra moisture. Put him into a cage for the night so that I could watch his urine output. :(
Everyone got up in the morning, ate small breakfast(unhappily), then to the presents.
Luckily I had everything cooked ahead of time for the lunch with visiting family because i had to take "JOn" the cat to my work as he became blocked. He is still there but resting comfortably. I was at work for over 3 hours working on him. I had given the reheating instructions to hubby who is great.
Came home to most family here and we finished our Christmas.

JOn is feeling better and I will probaly bring him home tomorrow after work but the poor kitty had to spend Xmas alone at the hospital without his human mother, Lil. So she wrote a song for him and we called the hospital and our kennel staff held the phone up to him. He did respond back with some of his strange sounds that he makes, so lil was feeling better about him being there alone.:D

So, all in all pretty good day, with no casualties.
THe pictures are before opening the presents and of the sock doll that Lil made for Arthur and the sticker book that Arthur bought for Lil.
The 2 kittens. Jon is on the right and the one yawning and his brother Jasper is slightly darker and larger.
